NATALIE PORTMAN FANSITE
Vegetarian, Harvard graduate Natalie Hershlag (Portman is her stage name) was raised in New York where she was discovered by an agent at age 11. Her powerful film debut came in 1994 in the movie LÉON, aka THE PROFESSIONAL.
In 1999 Natalie became a lead lady and received worldwide fame when she landed the starring role of Queen/Senator Amidala in STAR WARS Episodes I, II, and III. Since STAR WARS, Natalie has starred in several critically acclaimed comedies and dramas, including WHERE THE HEART IS, GARDEN STATE and CLOSER, for which she received a Golden Globe award and an Oscar nomination. Recently Natalie starred in the action thriller V FOR VENDETTA.
