Britney Spears was the youngest cast member ever on the Mickey Mouse Club, where she received extensive acting, dance and singing training. After MMC, Britney was picked up by Jive Records. In 1999 her first pop album topped charts for 6 weeks and went 14xs platinum. She followed up her debut album with two more top selling pop albums, becoming a legend in the media and celebrity circuit.
In 2002, Britney released "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman", from the soundtrack of her debut movie CROSSROADS which was released in February that year. Britney won her first Grammy in February 2005 for the single "Toxic" as Best Dance Recording. In September 2005, Britney evolved yet again, with the birth of her first child, son Sean Preston. Future movie projects include IN THE PINK, a comedy with Tim Allen. In seven short years Britney blossomed from innocent schoolgirl to Pop vixen to young wife and mother. It’s only a matter of time before Pop phenomenon Britney scores big with her next album or tour or movie. And you can be certain the world will be watching.
